Please remind your students and transportation providers to follow the crossing guard's directions. And a quick reminder that electronic devices are dangerous near busy intersections. Texting/ Phone Talking and walking is a dangerous combination. The crossing guard team enjoys a friendly hello or a wave. It is one of our first opportunities to teach social/soft skills to the very young... and not so young. Have a great back-to-school season.

Notice of Destruction of SPED Records

Morton Community Unit School District 709 will be destroying special education records for students with a 1996 birthdate and who were evaluated for or received services during their school career. If the student or parents want these records they should call 309-263-0522 to arrange to pick them up. Any records not collected by June 15, 2024 will be destroyed.
