5th Grade Egg Drop

To conclude the science mini-unit of Newton’s Laws of Motion, the fifth graders were assigned the task of protecting a fragile egg from the direct effects of gravity, momentum, and inertia. It was an egg-stra cold day, and through the first snow flurries of the season, 50 students braved the elements with group-created contraptions. Only 6 groups survived the egg-citing challenge!
